I am totally disapointed with this, how can those leading have zero drawdown with wide profit. how is it possible ????
it is better it is removed for this contest to be fair for those that recently registered

Hi there President Buhari!

It is possible, if you are on the right side of the market, on the right moment.
Take #1 for example, he/she went big lots, full margin when BTC spiked up earlier today (check image) and made a great profit with 0% DD.
Only 1 trade, at the perfect time, and ranks #1!
But fear not, good ser... nothing is definitive until the last minute. The contest has just started and I'm 100% sure rankings will change many, many times before the contest ends.
So, who knows, you might even get to top 15 and receive a cash prize - just trade the best you can and best of luck Thumbs Up

Thanks.

That trade was opened at 15:54 and closed at 16:19. BTC price in that time frame had drop from $22,444 to $22,295 which is $149, and with 4 lots this is drawdown(DD) of $596. So how can the DD be $0? With trade opened at 22,104 the profit at 22,444 was $340 or times 4 lots = $1,360. $500 initial deposit plus $1,360 profit is $1,860 equity. The above DD of $596 means 31% equity DD, and thus disqualification due to break of 20% DD rule. But the account holds 1 place with zero DD. It is not fair.

Hi there DMLforex!

You are right on your calculations, but i'm afraid wrong on the time.
I went to BTC/USD price chart and at 15:54 the price went up, not down. Please notice the trade duration is 24 minutes. On the image attached is the M5 TF - there is 0% DD on that trade.

The entry bar is signaled, and 5th bar the trade was closed. Price never dropped.

Then I do not understand the DD rule. I thought that equity DD is calculated also when trade is in profit. For example, you open a trade and you are 50% in profit, but you do not close that trade and it goes back to the opening price, which is DD of 33% and disqualification. Because in your image the price did drop after three green candles, with the trade still open. And that is by my definition equity drawdown. I did not known that only trades that are in minus are calculated as DD.

Hi again DMLforex!

You are absolutely right! Your example is perfect.
But in this case the drop after the entry was insignificant, thus, the server did not record it.
It would have been a different story after the 5th bar, when price dropped for 4 red candles.

Thanks for your comments Thumbs Up

Hi there Stephen!

Make sure you log in to 🖥️ Contest server: ICMarketsSC-Demo01.
There's a lot of traders trying to log in to ICMarkets-Demo01 server, which is wrong - needs to be ICMarketsSC-Demo01.

Thanks

Hi there adamaek, Alal, & Coca Cola!

Yes, there was a system error yesterday. According to our IT specialists, because of the hour change in the USA over the weekend and the broker's server time, the servers lost the sync.

It took some time to re-sync the demo server and the stats server, but then in the end, our top-notch IT guys fixed it.
Systems are running 100% now and all is back to normal.

Thanks for your patience and... lesgo! Let's trade! Thumbs Up
