The broker follows an NDD/STP execution model, connecting traders to its multiple liquidity providers (LPs) venues to match the best possible market prices. Let’s check out AMarkets’ trading accounts:
AMarkets ECN account is the broker’s most competitively priced account, suitable for all traders, but particularly useful for scalpers, high-volume traders and those trading with Expert Advisors (EAs).

AMarkets Standard account is also best suited for retail traders looking to trade only with the bid and ask prices, without commissions. AMarkets Demo account
With a AMarkets demo account traders can test how this broker compares against its peers for its trading conditions and the available range of markets. A AMarkets demo account is also the best way for novice traders to practise their trading skills in a safe environment, without risking real money.
Opening a AMarkets demo account takes around 3 minutes. Firstly, new users will need to register with the broker by filling in a form with very basic information; name and surname, a valid email address and phone number. Please note that to open a demo account, traders do not need to upload any verification document(s) to AMarkets, unless they are ready to open a live account.
After filling in all the required information, and pressing the green “Open Account” button, a pop up will appear with a success message and AMarkets will connect the user directly to the MT5 Web Trader. Skip this step. The broker will also send a welcome email with the login details for the Client Portal, and a separate email to confirm the registered email address.
From the AMarkets Client Portal users can open a new demo account following the link “Open a new demo account” on the right bottom corner. The broker packs its demo account with both trading platforms, MT4 and MT5, and users can choose between Standard (also Netting with the MT5), Fixed and ECN (also Netting with the MT5 platform). Users can also set the initial equity in USD.
Next, AMarkets will display the account information, including login, password and investor password. The last thing to do is to download the trading platform from the links supplied by the broker. After downloading and installing it on the machine, traders just need to log in with the demo account details, and try this CFDs broker – or install one of the MT4/MT5 mobile versions available on Google Play Store and Apple Store and use the same demo details to log in.
AMarkets demo account gives users the chance to test the broker's pricing and execution on several financial instruments, without risking any real money. The demo account can be tested for an unlimited period, as it is non-expiring and it is 100% risk-free. The funds are virtual and all the trades executed on the AMarkets demo account, both profitable trades and losses, are also virtual, of course.

Spreads and trading commissions
AMarkets’ overall cost of trading and spreads are in line with other brokers. Still, the ECN account trading commissions are slightly more competitive, when compared with the ECN pricing from other brokers. The starting spread for the most popular cross, the EUR/USD pair, on the ECN account is 0.0 pip, variable, with a medium of 0.2 pip, plus a below industry average trading commission of $5 per round lot traded (100,000 currency units).
With a trading commission of $5 per traded lot AMarkets can be competitive, compared with other top brokers, and to see how much it costs in total to trade 1 lot of EUR/USD, for example, we can convert the current trading commission of $5 into pips and add the average spread.
So, the result is 0.5 pip, plus, with an average spread of 0.2 pip, the total cost of trading 1 lot of EUR/USD, with the commission charged on the ECN account, is 0.7 pip – well below the 1 pip benchmark.
AMarkets also offers the Standard account, without trading commissions, but this account pricing is slightly more expensive compared with the ECN account. Still, the minimum deposit required to initiate trading is just $100, instead of $200, and traders can enjoy higher leverage limits, up to 1000:1.
AMarkets swap rates, as of 14-12-2021, and for the EUR/USD, stand at -8.40105 pip for holding overnight a long position of 1 lot and at +0.11745 pip for holding overnight a short position of 1 lot, with a 3-day swap charged on Fridays. We consider AMarkets’ swap rates to be average when compared with the rollover rates offered by other top brokers.
AMarkets Deposits / Withdrawals
Deposit fees: Trading accounts can be opened in 3 different fiat currencies (EUR, RUB and USD) and maintained via 7 funding methods; debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and also the most popular e-wallets, including Neteller, Perfectmoney, Skrill and ADVcash.
Deposited funds are available almost immediately and AMarkets does not charge any deposit fees. However, deposited funds via any accepted funding method might incur charges from the sending bank, e-wallet or service provider.
Minimum deposit: Opening a trading account with AMarkets can be done online, taking around 5 minutes to complete the required forms and submit the ID confirmation documents. AMarkets uses an automated verification system that can confirm the ID in just 1 minute. Currently, AMarkets’ minimum deposit requirement to open a live account is 100 USD for the Fixed and Standard accounts and 200 USD for the ECN account – or the equivalent in the accepted account currencies.
Withdrawal fees: Unfortunately, AMarkets does charge clients a fee for withdrawals. The fee structure depends on the selected withdrawal method. Following strict AML policies, AMarkets only allows funds to be withdrawn to the same account from which the funds were originally deposited. For more information, please visit the AMarkets withdrawals dedicated page.
Inactivity fee: Currently, and according to point 2.9 of the AMarkets terms & conditions web page, the company does not charge inactivity fees.
AMarkets is a popular choice with traders, for its range of trading accounts and good execution conditions. Still, AMarkets is lacking the visibility and popularity of other mainstream brokers, maybe due to the choice of financial authority (the tier-2 SVF FSA) to supervise its activities and to boost its credibility with the trading community, who might not feel entirely safe with their funds.
With several thousand accounts opened in over 14 years of business (500,000 according to the companies’ website), AMarkets has managed to capture the attention of several traders – especially traders looking for a broker with robust trading platforms, and looking for competitive trading costs, with a special note for the ECN account pricing.
AMarkets offers several important features to boost its popularity, mainly, the competitive pricing of the ECN account, no fees on deposits, the excellent NDD/STP trading environment with direct access to the markets, a good range of financial instruments, its RAMM accounts for investors and strategy providers, and a great selection of trading education materials and tools – with a highlight for the AMarkets Trading Ideas Telegram channel. The AMarkets Telegram channel is also a learning centre where traders can keep up with the latest market events and follow the trading ideas of the AMarkets professional team of analysts.
Popular trading account: AMarkets ECN account is the popular choice with traders for its lower spreads and with a competitive commission of $5 per traded lot ($2.5 per side/lot).
AMarkets also deserves some extra popularity points for their excellent range of forex and trading education materials, available through the “Analytics” and “Trading Tools” tabs on its website. AMarkets users can check out the broker’s trading blog, use the Autochartist tool, precise trading calculators and an economic calendar, and make informed decisions with AMarkets’ fundamental & technical analysis reports.

What is the AMarkets Sentiment Indicator?
The AMarkets Sentiment Indicator shows the buyer-seller ratio in the market for each trading instrument. According to statistics, when the share of either of the participants rises above the 70% mark, it signals that the asset is overbought or oversold. In this case, the market will move in the direction of least resistance, where the share of traders is 30% or less.
AMarkets offers this tool in an easy to interpret visual way, where reading of ⩽30 signals that an instrument is oversold, thus a buy signal. A reading of ⩾70 signals that an instrument is overbought, thus a sell signal. Readings of 30-70 signal that the instrument is in the neutral zone - it’s better to refrain from trading.
A more advanced version of the indicator with the ability to analyse historical data is also available to all registered clients in the “Services – Cayman Sentiment Indicator” section of their Personal Area.

The ECN account boosts competitive pricing on a carefully selected range of financial instruments, including FX, indices, shares, bonds, commodities and cryptos, enough to satisfy, and diversify, the trading portfolio of any investor.
Also positively, the zero fees policy implemented by AMarkets regarding deposits and the multitude of accepted deposit methods is one of the great features of this broker.
