I still find those complaints outrageous lol A few complaints I can't really put into words, but one did said he suspects they manipulates his position since they own their own brokerage service. While the other was saying after he passed his phase 2 challenge, they refused verifying him so he gets his funded account

FndingTraders,com is a outrigh total scam! When I was really struggling to get over my last hurdle risk management. After an email explaining my situation and why I legitimately needed to talk to Stan the CEO or someone who is the head of trading. All I got back was a form email of general advice. I asked this multiple times and asked to make sure he saw the email personally. They would not give me anyone direct email, phone or have anyone call you. I literally couldn’t believe this and asked at least three times to make sure the person wasn’t just mistaken or didn’t understand from my letter why it was necessary. At a trading firm the traders take precedence over everything else. If I needed to the head of owner of the firm or the head of trading either on the phone quickly or they will be calling within minutes. Traders get in trouble and need experienced advice and they can’t wait around until someone responds to a support ticket ion a discord server.

Yeah man it's really hard to know what's what. The only one we've really witnessed dissected by regulators turned out, seemingly, to be a total scam. So that's interesting. Then the main FX based one that's been around for a long time, if you check the claims made on old versions of their site at waybackmachine, though they initially claimed it was real prop trading to trade real money at the funded stage, those claims changed dramatically as regulatory pressure grew. So then you wonder was it a massive scam all along...

You are right, Regulation, but a strict one will go a long way. And secondly, people shouldn't jump into everything they see/hear, a thorough Review is appropriate. This have saved me fortune. I've heard more of bad experiences with prop firms in general than good, that's why I don't go near them.

Indeed I watched Alpha Capital run a wild email harvesting plot and no one questioned them. Promising to out 50,000 5k account, it was just a regular day in business for them

Really, wow well that’s good to know. 50k!!! I don’t want to judge anything too much without fully knowing all the facts but the challenge giveaways give me a bad feeling at present. I can’t help but wonder if there’s any value at all - obviously you are thinking the same @Chess. With that said there’s a lot of demand. I’d like to partner with a company to run some contests in that sphere but I’m hesitant on how to find one that isn’t ripping people off.

It's a prop firm, that's for the5ers. You know the prop firm industry is currently unregulated so lots of shitty things actually going on with them. I was concern on hearing about the opinions of people that trade with them since I did but I'm hearing some shitty things about them which I haven't experienced

Afteprime on the other hand is a brokerage that was started after the founders of globalprime that have partnered with cbfx sold the company. I was concern if you could still reach out to Jem to organize Afterprime contest since cbfx once organized a contest for his former company globalprime

I brought it up in their discord and I was kicked out and banned. And that Made it more true to me

That lack tolerance for speech is more reason they should be scared of. As for the $50,000, I wouldn't call it outrageous and some may not be harvesting data, the paying ones may even do more than$50,000, it's all about the margin permission. You might see $50,000 in the account and be trading as if you have $300.

I'm not talking about $50,000 I'm talking about them giving out 50,000 five thousand dollars account. That's they want to give out $5k account to 50,000 persons That's what I'm saying is outrageous or maybe it was even 75,000 lol

True lol Traditional prop firms are something else Only a few of them can be trusted Most traders are uninterested in learning how this whole industry works hence why we call dumb money lol The current model used by most prop firms are unethical and most brokers use them too

It's preposterous their market schemes lol And I affirm to what you saying 100% They're in business for our money and not the other way round. They run the same model similar to B-book brokers
